We are seeking to recruit an experienced clinical Pharmacist to join our small and friendly department, providing clinical and general pharmacy services. The post-holder will be required to make independent decisions around pharmaceutical care and may deputise for the head pharmacist on occasions.

You will be a GPhC registered pharmacist with good organisational skills and an eye for detail. You should have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and be able to work as part of a team.

This post is available as a band 7 if you have experience, knowledge and skills in clinical pharmacy. The post is available as band 6 if you have less experience. We provide extensive training and you can progress to band 7 within this post once the appropriate knowledge and skills have been developed. Our priority is to appoint the person most suited to develop this exciting new post.

Your continuing professional development will be supported, including access to relevant courses and study days. This may include the Scottish Stage 2 vocational training scheme, if this has not already been completed.

A full driving licence is essential for this post and you will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Highland to meet the operational requirements of the service.

This is a permanent full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, to be worked Monday to Friday in order to meet service requirements. You will also be required to work some public holidays.
