Denies embezzlement
Alleged to have misappropriated just over £2000
A THURSO woman has denied embezzling just over £2000 while working at one of the town's primary schools.
The offence is said to have occurred Pennyland Primary between May 1 and October 31, 2015 while the 36-year-old was employed by Highland Council.
Simpson, of 7 St Peter's Road, Thurso, will return to Wick Sheriff Court on May 23, for an update on trial preparations.
