Can somebody tell me please how to contact any of the Councillors, they will not answer their phones or respond to e mails. Do they have offices somewhere ?

You do not say which ward you are in but all the councillors are listed at http://www.highland.gov.uk/councillors
The list gives all contact details.
Phone should be ok even if emails are not answered.
Sorry I cannot say why you have not had any replies but if you are stuck contact me and perhaps I can check why the councillor did not respond

Thanks Bill, I have tried to contact all of the Councillors on that list. Maybe you can answer my question though, is there one Councillor in Caithness and Sutherland that has a responsibility for Tourism in the area ?

Tourism comes within the remit of the Planning Development and Infrastructure committee - see http://www.highland.gov.uk/info/2000...ture_committee

The members of that committee are listed.

Although that committee deals with the main aspects of tourism it may be that some issues are dealt with by other committees such as North or South Planning committees.

There is no one councillor that has a responsibility for tourism but that applies to many of the function of the council.

If you want to send me your question I will try and direct it to the best person to respond to your enquiry. My council email is bill.fernie.cllr@highland.gov.uk

    Thanks for that Bill.
