    Default Honesty box, missing cash

A quick word of warning to those people who have an honesty box for the sale of home produce, our cash jar has gone missing - thankfully it shouldn't have had too much in it but is a slight on the honest people who use the honesty box system to purchase goods.
So empty the cash more frequently and keep an eye out! If this was an honest mistake then I hope for the return of the jar and cash, if not then I hope their next visit to the loo involves the passing of a hedgehog, a pineapple and a cheese grater. Rant over!

    Default honesty box

Had the same problem here at Slickly Croft, forced the lid of the cash box open tho there wasn't a great deal of cash in there, it was screwed down, so we put a stronger box with a slot in the lid so the thief just took the eggs and then they took the egg again so we removed the box,

It might be a little bit hassle but wonder if putting one of those dummy cctv cams near by so it looks like its been monitored?

Sad though that this happens. Some weird people about these days

Just to update folks, we have been forced to get a steel cash box secured to our box due to another theft. Next on the list is a hidden CCTV camera so we can use this forum and other social media to possibly name and shame, after passing copies of any crime to the relavent authorities of course.
