There will be a few contenders for the 5.
Here are a few from Wikipedia -

James Bremner has a monument over looking Wick Bay http://www.caithness.org/atoz/statue...mner/index.htm

Not Wick but James T Calder who wrote the Caithness History has a statue near Wick Railway Station.

And what about our very own Lord Lieutenant of Caithness, Miss Anne Dunnett?

She must be a famous Wicker?

And Aline Mowat, who is another actress, although she's from south of the mighty river.

I remember him at the Assembly Rooms about 20 years ago. One of my customers was having a job recalling what the Character name was and so we went from Mr Pongo to Mr Bongo and then finally Mr Boomerang, as the late Angie Cormack couldn't quite get it right as he asked me if I was going to cut out of my work to go and watch the man who would implore youngsters to "Wiggle their knees and touch their toes", something that Jimmy Savile was probably ganting to do back in the 70's.

I am sure Andy will be "Over The Moon" to be nominated here and this picture shows just how far you can go with an old lampshade and a Dounreay Decontamintion Suit:-

There's no more a famous Wicker than "Jimbo". I think he should stand in the next Council elections. He has a lot more intelligence than some of them.
A 1991 Gallup survey indicated that 49 percent of Americans didn't know that white bread is made from wheat.
