    Default Scrooge/ A Christmas Carol.

Another year for Scrooge with Alistair Sim....
It has been a favourite for many years.......1951.

I take it you have the DVD as I have searched the channels for it and can't find it on Freesat, Netflix or Amazon Prime - the 1951 version that is!

I did look at Amazon to buy it but decided to not spend the £8.95 and delivery for it (or from S Korea for £3.50 plus delivery) as it would have arrived after xmas.

Original releases of the DVD's of this movie are going for around £47 on Amazon ... crazy prices.

So I am a bit disappointed as this is also one of my favourite Christmas movies, I do plan to buy it for next year.

The Alistair Sim version of Scrooge is very popular in North America.
It is thought to be a Classic.
    The cast are brilliant.

Thanks embow, I had searched "A Christmas Carol" not Scrooge - so thanks for that, I now have it down to record.

Totally agree with your The Horseman - Alistair Sim is brilliant, I also like the Patrick Stewart version as well.
