Thirty-year-old remanded after petition appearance
A CAITHNESS man is facing a series of charge including an allegation of wilful fireraising.
He was named following a brief appearance, on petition in private, at Wick Sheriff Court, today, as Paul Fairweather.
In addition to the fireraising charge, Fairweather is accused of police assault, disorder and a breach of the peace. The offences are said to have occurred in Thurso, on November 25.
Fairweather made no plea or declaration and was fully committed.
He was remanded in custody by Sheriff Andrew Berry.
