    Default Weather

Last night the wind blew fiercesome here and shook us all,
Was like we was in Caithness in a squall,
The rain came down in sheets, sounded like thunder,
I was tempted the bed to guzzunder!
Then hailstones like pepper hit the house.
To a hole timid like a mouse,
I crept to avoid the rattle and the sound,
    Like a mole diving underground.
But still the windows rattle and the eaves roar.
    Silence me ears are sore!
But to no avail my pleas, the rain still pours,
It will wash away all that's ours.

    Well done Lizz,

Sounds like you had a very stormy night - was that Sunday?
We had more rain then than we had for almost three months !
Of course the gardens need it, but I wish it had come in April
    as I had planned!
Anyway - it's great when weather moves one to writing a poem !
    I suffered along with you!

    Thanks
    Trinkie
