    BUILDERS are aiming for the new Wick High School and Newton Park primary schools to be completed at the start of December but the reasons for the ongoing delay remain unknown because of alleged commercial confidentiality.

    THE pioneering tidal energy project in the Pentland firth offers huge potential to provide massive and reliable sources of energy. Japanese ambassador to the UK Koji Tsuruoka was encouraged by his two-day visit to Caithness and Sutherland accompanied by Yosuki Ishigami from the economic section of the Japanese embassy and Daisuke Matsunaga consul general of Japan in Edinburgh.
