Remanded after court appearance at Wick

A WICK man is facing two charges of assault, one of a serious nature,

Peter Williamson Mackay was remanded in custody yesterday, following a second, brief appearance in private at the town's sheriff court yesterday.

The 33-year-old made no plea or declaration and was fully committed.

The incidents are said to have taken place in Wick, on September 2. Mackay is also accused of being in possession of an offensive weapon.
