    Default Sir Patrick Moore

    Just watched 50 years of Sky At Night.
    I thought what a giant of the twenthienth centuary!
    Anyone else see Patrick Moore in that light?

    Aye he wis a bit of a giant. Never really got into the Sky at Night, but I like Moore when he made straight man cameo appearances on shows like Morcambe and Wise etc, he is a funny guy. When my brother was in the Navy him and some of his crew got stuck in an airport with Patrick, they all started drinking and said he was great crack. He should be commended for staying loyal to a project for that length of time, thats real staying power.
