Teen alleged to have carried out a knife-point holdup at filling station

A ROSS-SHIRE teenager is alleged to have held up a Wick petrol-pump attendant at knife point and robbed her of more than £100 of the firm's takings.

Keiran Michael Bowes, denies on indictment having assaulted 61-year-old Christine Davidson, at the garage firm of W.M. Dunnet Ltd, in Francis Street, Wick, and robbing her of £123-54.

The 19-year-old accused is alleged to have had his face partly covered by a hood during the incident on August 26, last year.

The case, at Wick Sheriff Court, was yesterday continued to the original trial date on Thursday when a new date is expected to be fixed,to allow 'crucial' CCTV evidence to be considered by the defence.
