    Saw a small yellow lizard in garden today has any body know what kind it could be?

    I must say newts do look a lot like small lizards and can have a yellowy/green colouring. Wondering if there any ponds in or near your garden bounce?

    there is pond over the main road about 5 hundred yards away?

    Sounds like a brexit, probably just fled Europe on the back of a lorry.

    I believe newts will travel large distances to find water so yes I'll vote for your lizard-like creature being a newt. How wonderful.

    Saw a lizard running accross the track from Blingery to Camster last summer. Ran too fast to be a newt I would say. It was pretty much the colour of old grass and would be well camouflaged in long grass.
