Police clocked driver at 89mph on A9

A SHERIFF has ordered a personal appearance of a driver who hit a speed of 89mph on a main Highland highway.

Offshore worker Gerald Marsden, 40, of The Bungalow, Spittal, admitted the offence which occurred on the A9, at Georgemas, near the village of Halkirk, on March 23.
