Pole to stand trial after brief court appearance

A POLISH man has been accused of attempted murder in the far north.

Dawid Jachowicz-Wproblewski made plea or declaration during a brief appearance at Wick Sheriff Court.

The 33-year old was remanded in custody pending further inquiry.

His appearance, in private, follows an incident at a house at Balmore, near Dounreay.
He is expected to make a further court appearance, next week.
