Threatened to stab police officers' mothers in the eye

AN Aberdeen man threatened to murder police officers after they arrested him, on Christmas Eve, a far north court heard yesterday.
Richard Donn, 28, also assaulted a constable after he arrived at the police station, Wick Sheriff was told.
Donn admitted the assault and threatening behaviour and an extensive record. He will be sentenced next month.
Outlining the incidents, fiscal depute, Fraser Matheson said that the police had occasion to arrest the accused in Wick town centre. He was secured in the back of a police van and on the way to the police station, he threatened to "stab and murder you all" adding that he would also "stab their mothers in the eye".
When he was taken from the van, at the station, he kicked out at Constable Ross Robertson and spat at him.
Donn, of Flat 4, 2 Deer Road, Woodside, Aberdeen, will return to court on April 29, when Sheriff Andrew Berry will consider a background report before passing sentence.
