Default Wembley bridge named White Horse

After all the furore of wanting to name the new Wembley bridge after a footballing legend they go and name it after a flipping horse. They reckon Sir Alf Ramsay came second. Any bets Jim Baxter won the poll but the English F.A. aren't going to admit to that are they?

Sir Alf Ramsay must be turning in his grave (rest his soul) after being out voted by a horse.

Good job they never used a circus elephant to control the crowd at the said football match, otherwise it could have been called The White Elephant Bridge.
A 1991 Gallup survey indicated that 49 percent of Americans didn't know that white bread is made from wheat.

Must admit that when Slim Jim never made the short list I did think about helping them name their bridge after a bottle of whiskey.....maybe some others thought along the same lines???
