    Default Petrol strimmer repair

Hi, is there anyone local who can fix a petrol strimmer?
It won't start. I've replaced the spark plug and fuel filter but no difference,
    I'm based in Thurso.

Thanks for the recommendation MissBB. Have sent Sharky a pm.

Hi Poppet, I've recently moved to Caithness (Gills) and am having issues with a 1yr old Titan 2-stroke petrol strimmer my brother gave me - he mentioned fuel had been in it for a year and had only been used a couple times so I changed fuel but as soon as I give the strimmer some throttle, it cuts out and spark plug needs dried out to start it again. Have cleaned the air filter but still no joy - would your husband be able to take a look sometime? I'm offshore in any case, until 29th July but could drop it round when I return? Thanks, Ewen
