Man had no recollection of incident court heard

POLICE, who went to assist a man after he phoned them saying he was hearing voices, saw him put his head through a window causing £800 of damage, Wick Sheriff Court heard today..
Ernest Watt, 44, admitted causing the damage at the block of flat outside his home 44-46 Macrae Street, Wick, on September 5, last year.
The court was told that the accused who had a history of mental health problems was on new medication at the time which might have had an adverse reaction on him. Watt, who was said to have had no recollection of the incident, was ordered to carry out 90 hours unpaid work in the community.
