Accused remanded by sheriff pending trial

A YOUNG Thurso driver is to stand trial on three road traffic offences.
Appearing from custody at Wick Sheriff Court yesterday, Martin Gunn, 24, driving while disqualified, careless driving and reversing into another vehicle, in Traill Street, Thurso on Sunday.
The accused, of Queen's Square, Thurso, also pleaded not guilty to failing to provide two specimens of breath at Wick police station.
The accused's trial was fixed for March 31 and he was remanded. Sheriff Andrew Berry granted an application to have Gunn's car impounded pending the outcome of the case.
