Accused alleged to have been almost five times the limit

A DRIVER is alleged to have been almost five times the legal limit when in charge of his car..
In the dock at Wick Sheriff Court today, was Michael Bojanowski, 27, who denies the charge.
He is alleged to have a breath-alcohol level of 120mgs - the legal limit is 22mgs - and also pleaded not guilty to having no insurance. The offences are said to have been committed in Janet Street, Thurso, on Sunday.
Bojanowski, of Rybnik Villa, Weydale, near Thurso, will stand trial on June 7. He was granted bail, but his car was impounded, pending the outcome of the case.
An interpreter was engaged to facilitate the proceedings.
