Raid uncovers indecent images court is told

POLICE who raided a man's house uncovered indecent images of children on two computers, Wick Sheriff Court heard yesterday.
Liam Stewart, 25, pleaded guilty on indictment to possessing the images on April 29, 2014 and will be sentenced next month.
The court was told that the images one computer had three files at level 1, level two and level four, in terms of severity. On the second computer, there were four level one, still images and a level 4 video.
It was stated that Stewart had been referred by his GP for a psychological consultation.
He will be sentenced on March 3 after Sheriff Andrew Berry considers a background report. Stewart will meantime be entered on the Sex Offenders Register.
