Thread: SNP Council Cuts

  1. #1

    Default SNP Council Cuts

Would like to hear the Nats defend the SNP's Policy of freezing Council Tax and then cutting the Highland Council budget by 40 million

i'm sure a lot of people would accept an increase in council tax if it meant that vital services would be protected (or at least not cut so severely)

It's the Tories that are putting the screws on Hollyrood and it's not Tory policy to raise taxes. Lay the blame at those how deserve it and that's Westminster.

Nothing to do with Westminster, just the SNP trying to impress (and not doing very well) England's increases to it's own people are here: https://www.gov.uk/government/upload..._July_2015.pdf
