**FREE CSCS Health & Safety Training**
We have organised CSCS Health & Safety training which will run from:
- 3.00pm to 6.00pm on Friday 12th February and
- 9.00am to 12noon on Saturday 13th February
People have to attend both sessions, and complete the final assessment.
With the CSCS certificate you can then apply to Pearson to sit your CITB test, with both of these certificate you can then apply for your CSCS card to work on a work site. People have found it hard to get the Health and Safety test as it is not possible to complete on line. The tutor is well established and trains on the Dounreay site.
We have a maximum of 14 places with priority being given to offshore workers who have lost their jobs in recent months.
The course costs in excess of £200 each to complete including the workbook and assessment, if people are able to claim their ILA we will ask them to apply for this, if not we will use some of our own funding to get people through the course and ready to gain employment in work sites around the town.
