Ask the chap in the gardencentre in Castletown. He is a fiont of knowledge.
We have planted cotoneaster as a hedge but think it is too close to the fence.
It has been established for about three or four years now and wondered whether it would be okay to move it?Also how deep will the roots be?
Also when should I expect flowers and berries? There were some flowers last year but they didn't last long and didn't get any berries in the winter.
Advice much appreciated.

Thanks Stratman. Will do.
Hi Liz,
Growing Cotoneasters over the years as a hedge or as individual bushes has been easy and fun.
The spread can be as high as an older 'model', over 6 feet.
Roots would go down the same distance.
As a hedge, they take well to pruning for shape or for control of size.
The berries arrive in August in our Zone 3a.
With September frost the leaves turn a bright crimson red with some orange in places.
the best in your landscaping adventures.
