He/She is lovely, I have never seen a rabbit coloured like that. Is it unusual?

Really well done. The best thing was there were alot of rabbits and lots of different breeds there for everyone to see. Thanks to the Caithness Rabbit Fanciers' Association for all their help.

Thats okay Wellies, the Caithness Rabbit Fanciers' Association members were more than happy to help with your first rabbit show.

We are glad it was a great success and a lovely day too.

That is the usual patterning of a silver fox rabbit, they come in 4 colours black, blue, lilac and chocolate. If you ever see a rabbit advertised for example as black otter it is same type patterning but instead of white it has an auburn colour.

Amazing, I didn't realise there were so many types of rabbits. We just have normal ones bopping around the paddocks here. Of course I know there are fluffy ones etc... but I didn't know about any others.

A lot of British Rabbit Council Judges have been over in Australia in recent years to judge your shows. There is a lot of work going on in Australia all the time to get a lot of breeds up and running over there and the Australian fanciers are absolutely dedicated.

I will have to keep my eye out for a rabbit show and go and have a look at all the different breeds. As I said, I am quite amazed by the range. It will be good to go and have a sticky beak. Up until now, rabbits have only meant dog food and kids pets to me. But you wouldn't eat those lovelies or have them mentally tortured by grasping little hands, at least I wouldn't.
