    Default Buzzard getting chased

Out with the dog and saw a buzzard rise from the next field, hotly pursued by a much smaller bird - couldn't see what it was but about starling size I think. The wee one was going at the buzzard good style - chased it for a good half mile that I could see. I wonder what titch was protecting - thought that nests would be empty by now. Made my day - sad I know.

Nothing like watching bird wars, have many a time been entranced by raptor versus others.

Aye. I've always been entranced by the behaviour of my garden birds but it was the first time I've ever seen a 747 being harried by a wee Cessna - it was taking no prisoners - I'll treasure the image
