    Hi there, I'm just wondering if there is a specific term that might describe "You'll be in trouble!" I'm writing

    No words were needed when my dad used to stare at me, but being "in the mire" was a phrase I have heard.

    These are all great and are going straight into my "word file" for future reference, thanks - as for the one I use for my current work in progress, you'll just have to wait and read it

    One that I heard but never really understood for impending trouble was "You will be farting in your own Weetabix"?
