A wee taster on what is a long article which contains actual twitter postings...........really bad stuff ok its in the Mail but all the evidence ie copies of his twitter postings are there for all to see

Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon was last night under pressure to explain how the MP was selected for his seat, as opponents suggested his comments were so offensive he should be stripped of the party whip.
Dr Monaghan, who has a Ph.D in social policy, founded the pro-independence Yes Highland group and led a homeless trust before being elected, winning the Caithness, Sutherland and Easter Ross seat from veteran LibDem John Thurso.
He used Twitter to accuse the 'proud Jewish race' of 'persecuting the people of Gaza', which the Jewish Chronicle has this week described as 'anti-Semitic'.
He is also a staunch republican who refers to the Queen as 'Mrs Saxe-Coburg-Gotha' – the former House title that was ditched by King George V and replaced with Windsor during the First World War.

WHy was his twitter antics not explored by the SNP prior to him being adopted as a candidate ?
