My first visit to Caithness...

Hi folks,

Thought I would drop in to say hello and invite you all along to the Holburn Hotel, Thurso on Saturday 29th August.

I play drums with Dixie Fried and we have the pleasure of being the entertainment for the evening. We are a 2 piece (drums & guitar / vocals) blues inspired rock band from West Lothian. We like to think we are don't play your typical blues or rock but somewhere in that general ballpark. If you have heard early Black Keys material, throw in a bit of Seasick Steve, The Black Crowes and Free into the mix and if that floats your boat then we reckon you will have a cracking night.

We have been trying to come to Caithness for a long time, and to finally get a gig in the area is just the icing on the cake for us.
