what version of windows please?
after right clicking on your desktop and selecting it on the 'resolution' page
is the model/number appearing in the box labelled 'display:'
or does it say 'non generic PNP monitor
I'm using a tv as my desktop monitor as i have been for years, was using a 32" then switched to 22", both tvs have hdmi ports which i use, with the 22" i have a black border round the desktop page, about half inch at sides and three quarters inch top and bottom. I have googled this and tried settings, properties, dpi, etc, no change. The only way i get rid of it is to load a pc game, then when i come off the game the screen is normal. Next time i switch on pc the border is back again. It's not a big issue for me but i would welcome some ideas to fix this or know what is causing it. Thanks in advance.
