Gills Bay underground cable route

Just wondering if anyone has a 'link' to a map showing the proposed underground cable route from Ness of Quoys to Phillips Mains. I presume there must be a proposed route? The Meygen website has nothing nor SSE. Hope someone can help.

Thank you Bill. Having read the planning application document from March 2013 (as per link given by you) I see that the route for the underground cables is yet to be finalised and will be the subject of a future planning application. I am a little confused as some canisbay residents seem to have a vague idea of a route map being in existence. My best guess is that maybe a proposed route was put forward and later withdrawn. Anyway, hopefully things will become clearer in time.

Thanks again Bill. The SSE pages seem to concentrate solely on the overhead route from Philips Mains to Thurso unless I'm missing something here. I can understand that overhead lines are contentious and might be a priority to sort out but I cannot find any map at all of the underground route from Huna to Philips Mains. I wonder if SSE think that the underground section will not cause much inconvenience to anyone and will be rubber stamped at the last minute? Yet local landowners need to plan their livestock and field rotations. There are issues with boundaries, fencing, access and so on. There are also building plots for sale that could be blighted. I e-mailed Lisa Marchi at SSE some days ago but no reply so far.
