    Default Ww2 raf

I'm being lazy here but I've just spent an hour Googling and got nowhere. My late father was in the RAF WW2. I know his service number. How can I access his service history? Thanks.

    Hi,

As you are "next of kin", you should be able to obtain the military record quite easily.

The following website is the best place to start:-

    https://www.gov.uk/get-copy-military-service-records

You should be able to follow the links from there, but the application form for "next of kin" can be found at:-

    https://www.gov.uk/government/upload...NOK_pt1_v6.pdf

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Steven
