Interest in Academy talent
Hamilton run the rule over under 17s fledgling
ACCORDING to the BBC, a young Wick Academy talent could be on the move.
Keen interest has been expressed in 16-year-old Joe Wilson, by Scottish Premier League club Hamilton Accies.
He played for the club's under 20s side in their 6-0 win, under the watchful eye of first team boss Martin Canning. Joe had been due to train with Hamilton's senior side for a week but injured a foot.
However, the Orcadian has been invited back for a further, week-long trial, in July.
Meanwhile, Joe is hoping to make Orkney FC.s starting eleven in their cup final clash against Golspie Sutherland, at Thurso, this weekend.
Wick Academy already have two Orcadians in their squad, brothers James and John Pickles.
