Why not have a washroom as part of the cockpit?

They have developed cars that will apply the brakes for you if it thinks that you are going to hit something, why not a plane that will automatically climb if it senses that it is going to hit the ground?

if the person was intent to crash it they were going to crash it shame he had to take so many inocent people with him but only he will know.

Hopefully the announcement about there always being two crew members in the cockpit will ensure this never happens again, and maybe someone will consider that doctors should be duty bound to report health issues of pilots and other professions where a lot of others lives are dependent mandatory.

Basically, I agree with you, although ensuring that something never happens again with 100% certainty is unrealistic in my view.
