TV Series Help

Right folks, how's your memory?
Quite a few years ago there was a television series set in Whitehall in the Ministry of Defence ( I think) and it had a theme tune running through it which went....... " The bells of hell go tingaling a ling for you but not for me...." There was also another song in it which went " Lipstick on your collar".

Can anyone remember what the series was called? And when it was on? I'm afraid my memory is not what it used to be.

Don't remember it myself but a quick Google bought up 'A Perfect Hero' as having a title tune with those lyrics... ring any bells?

More info. here and there's even a few episodes available on YouTube to see if that jogs the memory
