    Default Nihon Hakko Bujutsu

Recently 3 members of KSD Martial Arts were invited to travel to Venice Italy by Soshi Claudio Artusi to grade for their Shodan (Black Belt) certificates in Nihon Hakko Bujutsu.

The Hakko Ryu and a style of jujutsu founded June 1, 1941 by Ryuho Okuyama (1902-1987), Japan.
Ryu means school, Hakko means light, in reference to the eighth colour of the solar spectrum, ultraviolet, invisible to the naked eye, but whose penetration power and equal to damage it causes. The Japanese teachers explain, from an esoteric point of view, the effectiveness and invisible, and that comes from within.
The Hakko Ryu and was designed to apply pressure on Keiraku (meridians of the body) to cause intense pain but not destructive, to form the will of the aggressor. The purpose of the techniques of Hakko Ryu and neutralize, control and discourage aggressor techniques that associate with the minimum effort to maximum effectiveness, Hakko Ryu in fact teaches techniques designed so that the attacker defeat himself, and who defended not by a great effort.

After the successful Shodan grading the KSD students took part in an Aiki Jujutsu seminar where they were presented with their Shodan certificates by Soke Keido Yamaue.

Soke Keido Yamaue was born in Japan in 1946 and graduated in Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. It is difficult to say when he started Aiki Jutsu, because he was born in Budo Family. His father taught him Judo and chiropractic techniques, one of his uncles taught him Go Ju Ryu Karate and an uncle to his father taught him Aiki Jutsu and Aiki Do.
Uncle to father -Takuma Hisa (1895-1979) - was a great master of Daito Ryu Aiki Jutsu. Aiki Jutsu was a part of his Budo education in his childhood.
He also practised Shorinji Kempo (Japanese style of Shaolin Kung Fu) and many kinds of Chinese Kung Fu.He is well known in the world as a founder 10.DAN of Nord Shaolin Kung Fu (a new system based on northern Shaolin tradition) and Yamaue Ryu Aiki Jutsu.
Soke Yamaue receives several Budo awards, International Hall of Fame awards and recognitions from all over the world every year.
Soke Yamaue is a Buddhist priest of Daishoji Imperial Temple and Saga Imperial Palace / Daikakuji Temple and he works daily as a culture consultant for the two imperial temples.
