Winter Gritting

Interested what peoples thoughts are with the Winter gritting in the area this year, now that we have had some snow and ice?

Just been to Inverness & back, Tuesday. The A9 was great, better than expected, so can't complain

What do you think of compulsory winter tyres? I think it's a good idea, Simply because they make such a big difference to the way your car brakes and handle's. But they wouldn't help anybody who lacks confidence in driving in winter weather.

Winter tyres should be a must have makes so much difference to the grip, and wet weather no hydra planing
