    Default Woman propositioned at kerbside

"How much?" asked van driver in the early hours

A WOLVERHAMPTON man has admVitted making a dubious, kerbside, request to a woman in Thurso, in the early hours.
Thomas Rogers, 24, was driving a van when he slowed down, sounded his horn and asked the woman, a complete stranger - "How much?" or "words to that effect".
Rogers, of 126 Orchard Lane, Bilbrook, Wolverhampton, was not present when his case was called at Wick Sheriff Court yesterday, but pleaded guilty by letter to threatening or abusive conduct in Sir George's Street, Thurso, on September 21, last year.
Sheriff Andrew Berry ordered a personal appearance by Rogers, "given the subject matter" of the offence.
The accused is due to appear in the dock on February 6.
