    Default Schools closure Friday 9th January?

    Can anyone advise if Wick High School is closing tomorrow? Nothing on website, but Thurso High has already announced closure tomorrow due to the weather forecast. Thanks in advance

    Dounreay is also closed tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday to all but essential staff.

    I was told to prepare for possible power cuts too as the storm is expected to be a very severe one with 100mph winds and driving rain/sleet.

    OK use common sense ...if there is no power there will be no school....look out the window at the weather!
    Listen to MFR for the school closure lists/weather reports on your battery/wind up radio.

    Wick High and Miller Academy are now closed though not yet showing on to closures list.... I used the PIN number phone system.
