    Default Bullfinch

just looking at all the different finches coming to my feeding station today, and got to thinking that I have never seen a Bullfinch In Caithness since I moved here over 45 years ago, are they indigenous in the county, and I just haven't noticed

I am in Thurso fairly near the edge of the town, so I have regularly 15-20 goldfinches daily, a couple of greenfinches, and a pair of Chaffinches. No sign of any yellowhammers though.

There are Bullfinches In the county, have photographed a couple but they tend to be woodland ground feeders. Never had one in the garden sadly.
Would suspect those Yellowhammers were Siskins.
