    Do we get them in Caithness . Got an owl flying out of my barn in my forest defo White underneath but not getting a view above

    I suspect the clues in the sentence, 'flying out of my barn' - probably a barn owl. Plenty of them up here now, listen for the screetching.

    Yes likely a Barn Owl. Look for blackish pellets on the floor.
    Snowy Owls are very occasional in Caithness. They don't go into buildings.
