    Default Eating out in Inverness

    Hi orgers,

Looking for somewhere to eat in Inverness when doing the x-mas shopping. Always end up at the Castle restaurant, looking for a change.

I like Girvans but always busy, especially at this time of year. The Kitchen and Mustard Seed are good if you want something more restauranty for lunch or dinner

Try the Beaufort Hotel - always worth a try - we stay there overnight sometimes - it's good value and lovely food

I'd highly recommend The Kitchen. Fantastic food!!

The food at The Beaufort is pretty decent. Quick tip: Don't get a window seat if you don't like seeing rats

The Waterside does lovely lunches and their high tea menu is excellent.

The Joy of Taste in Church Street is excellent. Very much in the centre and always imaginative menu. Not sure if booking might be a good idea but worth phoning first.

Kool Runnings does great food. Fantastic Jamaican reataurant on Church St. If you want something different then this is the place to go.
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.
