Police probe assault report

CRIME SCENE SET UP OFF WICK'S BRIDGE STREET

POLICE are investigating a report of an assault on a woman in a lane off Bridge Street in Wick.
The incident is said to have occurred late last night at the foot of the steps between the
Clydesdale Bank and Blythswood.
Officers declared it a crime scene and a police photographer was observed taking photos later in the day.
Police have appealed for information from anyone who might have been in the area and might have seen something suspicious, to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
