    Offences of theft, reset and drugs possession alleged

    TWO Wick men are to stand trial on charges of theft and reset.
    Graham MacPhee, 28, and Alexander MacAlpine 51, appeared from custody at the town's sheriff court and tendered pleas of not guilty.
    MacPhee, of Church Lane, Halkirk, is accused of breaking into two houses in the village, on August 2 and stealing food valued at £50, mobile phone, a laptop, clothing and a Nitendo games console. MacAlpine, who lives in Dunnet Avenue, Wick, is alleged to have of reset the laptop. Both men are also charged with having been in possession of cannabis resin. They will stand trial on November 11.
