    Default Remanded pending sentence

Accused broke window at ex-partner's home court told
A BAIL-BREACHER has been remanded in custody pending sentence on a window-breaking offence.

Craig McBeath's latest offence could make him liable to serve the balance of a previous prison sentence.
McBeath, 28, appeared from custody and admitted breaking the front door window at the home of his former partner in Kinnaird Street, Wick, on Sunday night, when he was intoxicated. She was not at home at the time, Wick Sheriff Court heard today.
Sheriff Andrew Berry deferred sentence until August 8 for a background report and remanded McBeath, of Nicolson Street, Wick, observing that the accused was currently subject to a community service order and had previously offended twice while on bail.
The sheriff also noted that the McBeath had been released early from prison, previously, on licence.
