    I am a Gleber.

Have contacted Vodafone today for the third time and they now accept there is a major fault even though their line checker does not show it.

We are to be compensated for downtime, and at this time they can not say how long the fault will take to fix.

The techno suggested the following to try:- Switch off handset, remove sim, reinsert sim, switch on phone, go into network GSM only, select any other network ie orange, then search again for Voda. I have done this and now can send and receive text messages. Maybe it will work for you.

The chatline on vodafone homepage is excellent.
