Not an entirely happy New Year for revellers court is told

THE start to the New Year wasn't an entirely happy affair for two local revellers.
Aden Connell, 21, and 49-year-old Alexander Duff argued at a Wick pub and the altercation was resumed outside, the town's sheriff court was told today.
David Barclay, prosecuting, told Wick Sheriff Court that had the pair been sober, nothing more would have come of their disagreement.
Connell, of 33 Girnigoe Street and Duff, of 15 Hill Avenue, both Wick, admitted a breach of the peace at the Shore, Wick on January 1.
They were each given a six-month good behaviour bond.
