Thurso man admitted drugs possession

AN unemployed Thurso man is to be sentenced on Tuesday for drugs possession.
Martin Gunn, 34, appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff Court today, having been arrested for failing to keep a court appointment to finalise the case.
He had previously admitted possession of amphetamine near Latheron on the A9, on January 25, last year.
Gunn, of Queen's Square, Thurso, who was said to forgotten all about his court date, was granted bail pending his re-appearance next week.
He is meantime going to resume fine and compensation installments, imposed in respect of a previous offence, at the rate of £5 per fortnight.
