Accused to face charges of assault and abusive behaviour
A WICK man is alleged to have put his partner's head under water at their home in the town.
Niall Gallagher, 22, denied the assault when he appeared from custody at Wick Sheriff court yesterday.
He also pleaded not guilty to grabbing his parner's hair, and a further count which accuses him of abusive behaviour and a threat to kill her - on Sunday.
Gallagher, said to be currently staying with his parents at Lindos, Newtonhill, near Wick,
was granted bail, with a condition he doesn't contact his ex-partner. His trial was fixed for July 22.
